    Awesome thanks for posting.. Those who saw this live are very lucky. Pat has never made it down to Australia but is very known to guitar players. I agree with flamecolumn well said brother!!

    I actually think PT’s singing was a bit underrated. Great rock voice.

    Some great end of the 1970′s excess!

  • flamecolumn:

    I saw this tour. Agora Ballroom in Atlanta.
    Utterly devastating. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen hundreds.
    Mars is the most underrated bassist of all time, a true genius. Tommy Aldridge was the most badass sonuvabitch drummer in the world and when he soloed and started beating his drums with his hands the audience went insane. Then you have two fantastic guitarists weaving in and out and around each other, both obviously having a great time. An amazing memory.

    Saw Travers twice; Dec 78 opening for UFO (w/out Schenker :( ) & Outlaws & they stole the show !! Again in 80 as a headliner & they were mind-blowing !!The LIVE Go for what you know LP didn’t come close to capturing how amazing this line-up could be . Too bad there seems to be scant footage of it.

  • Gearbob:

    @srvcanada

    An insane line up!!

  • MrSmokeydog:

    @srvcanada Hell Yeah his best lineup by far and his best albums were from
    back in those early years. Puttin it Straight. Makin Magic, Heat in the Street and
    Live ” Go for What you Know “. most of my favorite bands are from Canada
    April Wine, Rush, Loverboy, Triumph, Bryan Adams
