I dunno why you like this game. Sure it’s faster, but if you don’t count clones this game has less characters than the last one and each character that came back lost something cool for absolutely no real. Ex. Nightmare’s chokeslam, Mitsurugi’s sword-in-the-sheath stance AND his trip combo and like half of Siegfried’s stance moves. This game sucks.
Inigo Montoya is clearly the best.

Why americans HAVE to hate brazilians…
Nightmare is probably the best character in terms of raw power, hard to block mix-ups and brutal combos are really chaenging to combat against. I love using Maxi, but going up against a Siegfried or Nightmare makes it extremely challenging for close ranged characters to get in. However, once close ranged characters like Natsu, Maxi, etc, are able to get in, the huge swinging sword is a disadvantage. Having to wind up can prove challenging, constraining to blocks and kicks. I’d go with Natsu

I like when you use a variety of characters. A couple with Seigfried, a couple with Raphael, and a couple with Mitsurugi. It’s always better with a variety. Heck, you should make more create-a-characters to add even more variety.
Using one character over and over gets boring to watch. It’s like trying to watch a UMvC3 tournament where everyone tends to use two throwaway characters and then get their Wesker into level 4 X-Factor. Sooo boring!
