draenei versus blood elf, which one is better for me?

I have done both and I can definitely say that blood elf is better. I find Draenei a bit boring and don’t that many quests you can get from it. So yeah go horde.
When it comes to being a mage, it won’t make much difference between being a Draenei or a Blood Elf. The Draenei’s racial abilities are a healing spell and gem cutting (I think, haven’t played in a while) and the Blood Elves used to be able to drain mana or silence and enchanting but that might have changed. I’ve played horde and alliance and I enjoyed them both very much! In the end it all depends on the people you are playing with, that’s what makes it fun! If you have friends on the alliance side, I’d try that first. You can always change faction if you want something different. (If you choose RP, you can stay in the same realm).
